Island Flora, 2012
Fuji 160C, Sinar F2, 12" f/6.3 Ilex-Caltar, f/6.3 at 1/25. The intended aperture for this photo was f/32, and this photo was four stops overexposed. I noticed the error and made another photo at the proper aperture, but something jostled the camera during the exposure and it was ruined. The effect of the wide aperture appealed to me, and the wide latitude of the color negative film held the highlights remarkably well. Accidents happen; not all are unfortunate.
